Jean Quinn, VP Corporate Communications, The Provident Bank and Frank Caragher, Executive Director of The Arc of Union County are excited to announce that Union County schoolchildren: Isabella Jeczo of Springfield, Erin Roth of Westfield, and Rahman Nafiu of Elizabeth, are Step Up for The Arc's First Annual T-Shirt Design Contest winners! Each child submitted artwork created around the theme of "Helping Others" and were selected by a judging panel comprised of Aimee Santos, Therapist, Meredith Hofmann, Director of Children's Services and Shannon Bolivar, Director of Family Support.
"Family and Fun are what the Fifth Annual Step Up for The Arc is all about", said Alexis Sosinski and Aida Colon-Liptak, Family Co-Chairs. Make certain to circle Saturday, September 25th on the calendar and join us and the Union County community at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, NJ. In addition to walking or running with the family, you will have the opportunity to take a photo with the NJ Devils or Somerset Patriots mascot, get your face painted, participate in games and enjoy breakfast and lunch courtesy of the NJ Masons and Applebee's of Union.
First-place winner, Isabella, will have her artwork featured on the Commemorative T-Shirt and receive a $250 savings bond. Second and third place winners, Erin and Rahman, will respectively receive a $150 and $100 savings bond. All savings bonds were generously provided by Step Up for The Arc's Long Distance / Presenting Sponsor, The Provident Bank and will be awarded at the event.
